Driving Directions
Easily find your way to Kaiser’s Guesthouse with our clear driving directions – located in the centre of Grahamstown / Makhanda and close to key Eastern Cape attractions.
From Gqeberha
- From the N2 take the “Beaufort Street” exit into Grahamstown (just past the 1820 Settlers turn off)
- At the first traffic light turn left into Somerset Street
- After 800m turn right into African Street
- After 650m turn left into Oatlands Road
- Kaiser’s Guesthouse is at 19 on the left.
From Bedford
- Travelling along the R350 enter Grahamstown via Cradock Road.
- At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Worcester Street.
- Continue until you reach a stop sign, then turn left onto Milner Street
- 130m down the road, turn right onto Grocott Street
- At the next stop sign, turn right onto Oatlands Road
- Kaiser’s Guesthouse is at 19 on the right.
From East London
- From the N2 take exit 872 to Makhanda / Business Centre / R67 Port Alfred into Grahamstown.
- At the stop street, turn left.
- Continue along George Street until you reach a stop sign with the Shoprite Centre ahead.
- Turn left onto Market Street.
- At the next stop street, turn right onto Hill Street.
- Continue for 1km, past 2 sets of robots and the Cathedral of St Michael & St George.
- At the roundabout, turn right onto African Street.
- Take the next left onto Oatlands Road
- Kaiser’s Guesthouse is at 19 on the left.
From Port Alfred
- Travelling on the R67 towards Grahamstown / Makhanda, continue along George Street until you reach a stop sign with the Shoprite Centre ahead.
- Turn left onto Market Street.
- At the next stop street, turn right onto Hill Street.
- Continue for 1km, past 2 sets of robots and the Cathedral of St Michael & St George.
- At the roundabout, turn right onto African Street.
- Take the next left onto Oatlands Road
- Kaiser’s Guesthouse is at 19 on the left.
Checkin & Checkout
Checkin hours are from 2 – 6pm.
Checkout time is at 10:00 am. If you are leaving before 7am, please settle your invoice the night before.
